Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior investing experience to take this course?

No. This course is designed for beginners as well as individuals with some investing experience. We start with the fundamentals and gradually progress to more advanced concepts.

Can I invest in the stock market while working a full-time job? Do I need to watch the market all day to be successful?

Many trading strategies can be adapted to fit a busy schedule. The course is specifically structured to help individuals with full-time jobs learn practical investing and trading skills without requiring them to spend all day in front of a screen. Many brokerage platforms offer tools that can help you manage investments without constantly monitoring the market.

What equipment or software do I need?
  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone

  • Internet access

  • A free Trading View account (we'll walk you through the setup!)

  • A willingness to learn

How much money do I need to start investing?

The course focuses on learning proper investing principles regardless of account size. You can start with zero dollars and should practice that way before ever placing a real trade... which also makes this course a great option for teens.  Many investors start with small amounts and contribute regularly over time. Consistency and discipline are often more important than starting with a large amount of money.

Will this course teach me how to get rich quickly?

No. Successful investing typically requires patience, discipline, and a long-term approach. This course focuses on education, risk management, and informed decision-making rather than "get rich quick" strategies.

Is this gambling? Will I lose all of my money?

No. Understanding risk and developing a sound investment strategy are important parts of becoming a successful investor. The course teaches risk management techniques to help investors make informed decisions.  Our course helps you avoid common beginner pitfalls such as:

  • Investing without a plan

  • Taking excessive risk

  • Following market hype

  • Letting emotions drive decisions

  • Failing to diversify

  • Expecting unrealistic returns

Will I receive support if I have questions?

You are encouraged to stay engaged and ask questions. Investing is a continuous learning process, and ongoing support is available to help clarify concepts and address challenges as they arise. Students also receive access to our private Slack community, where members can:

  • Ask questions

  • Share trade ideas and market observations

  • Discuss current market conditions

  • Network with like-minded investors

  • Learn from both beginners and experienced traders

Do you invest for me?
How do I know this is not a scam?

This is an educational stock market course, not an investment management service. I do not handle, invest, trade, or have access to your money at any time. I will never ask you for your financial information or to send additional payments.

The only payment I receive is the course fee for my time, instruction, and educational materials. Any investing you choose to do is entirely up to you and is done through your own brokerage account with the broker you select.

You remain in full control of your funds, accounts, and investment decisions. My role is to teach and educate—not to manage investments or make trades on behalf of students. As with any investment activity, there are risks involved, and no profits or specific results can be guaranteed.
